WELCOME

REFLECTION

The information Technology in Education module has provided me different ideas and experience in using some of the readily available technologies in our teaching and learning process. Almost all the topics covered in the course is very effective and informative and mots importantly interesting as well.

The practical sessions conducted in lab gives me extensive knowledge on some of the advance tools of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, which can be used in teaching and learning. Most importantly the idea of E-Form is very important in making teachers and students get involve in using basic tools of Information Technology.

It clearly shows that there are ample opportunities and technologies which can be used to improve the teaching and learning process of the school, in way that children love to complete the works assigned via technological aspects. It will be very much interested for them to work on electronic formats rather than going for paper pen format. Teachers need to find ways to enhance their lesson using technological means to make the lesson more interactive and interesting for their students.

The task of making the blog provided me extensive knowledge and challenge on using the tools and setting of blogger page. This gives me the idea of sharing the knowledge whatever i have to the teachers of my atoll via a blog spot.

It is really a great opportunity for me to work on this assignment as I gained a lot from the exercise which i have gone through. Most importantly I gained lots of information and ideas on how to include the technology in the teaching and learning process.
